Tenuta Chiaramonte is an organic farm in the heart of the province of Ragusa, in south-eastern Sicily, nestled among the Iblei Mountains. We have been producing organic DOP Monti Iblei extra virgin olive oil for over two centuries, combining our family's traditional methods with the best cold-extraction technologies.
Our 100 hectares of organic olive groves are home to more than 20,000 native Sicilian cultivars: Tonda Iblea, Moresca, Nocellara del Belice, Verdese and Biancolilla. Olives are hand-picked with traditional combs at their ideal ripening point and pressed within six hours of harvest to preserve aromas, polyphenols and freshness.
Alongside extra virgin olive oil, our estate also produces organic Sicilian wines, artisan preserves such as capers in salt, dried broad beans, cherry tomato sauces and a selection of gourmet products rooted in the Ragusa countryside. Our full catalogue is available directly from the online shop, with shipping throughout Italy and Europe and certified organic production.
