Sicilian tomato sauces
Organic cherry and datterino tomato passata: the simplest and best Sicilian sauce.
Two Sicilian tomatoes, two sauces
Cherry tomatoes give a sweet, velvety passata. Datterino tomatoes give a more concentrated, aromatic sauce. Both are organic and made by hand, to bring the flavour of Sicilian tomatoes to the table all year round.
It only takes a few minutes: a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a clove of garlic or some onion, the sauce and a basil leaf. It is the base for pasta, pizza and traditional recipes such as pasta alla Norma.
